Who are we?
SERMINSA is a Peruvian company with more than 44 years of existence, dedicated to the manufacture and servicing of machinery and equipment for rail transport, in the mining, construction and railway industries alike. SERMINSA is one of the leading companies supplying electric locomotives and wagons for the transport of minerals, waste rock, materials or people, with presence in several countries of the region: Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile.

History
SERMINSA represents three generations linked to the mining industry. Servicios Mineros S.A. – SERMINSA began operations in 1975 as a distributor of internationally renowned equipment and, after several years, established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of mining equipment in Peru.
In 2006 it acquired from PIKROSE LTD. of England the engineering of BEV (British Electric Vehicles), and began manufacturing the entire line of electric locomotives that operate in the leading mining companies of Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile. This locomotive line was later complemented with the complete line of wagons (mine cars) to complete the rail-based mineral extraction systems.
In 2014 it began distributing for EIMCO ELECON Ltd. of India, the original manufacturer of the EIMCO pneumatic loader line, as well as various mineral loading equipment; combined with the locomotive and wagon lines, this offers complete rail-based loading and haulage systems.
